9.23.01- Well, now its good. I got the new hard drive. It's a Maxtor 20 GB, 7200 RPM, ATA/100. It greatly increased my comp speed. You can see the review here.
9.14.01- It's a Trackball!! Yup that's right! Well, here is the review.
9.7.01- The Computer Page is up! Well, right now in our house there are two computers. One is mine. And one is my brothers. My brother has the computer called "The Monster" Mine is called "Ed". Let's compare computer stats as of 9.7.01:
So, as you can see, the monster is a better computer than Ed. But here is my plan.
First, we'll put in some more RAM in the Monster. 256 MB PC-133. Then I will have the other 96 MB that was in the Monster so I can have 128 MB RAM. I desperately need more RAM. So as soon as the new RAM is ordered and gets here then I'll have more RAM. Then I will get a new hard drive. I might settle for a 20 GB. But if I feel like spending the extra money, then I will get a 40 GB. Then I will get an ATI Radeon All-In-Wonder. After that, I will be working on getting a new motherboard and processor. But that is a long, long, long time away from now.
Currently I am working after school emptying trashcans and vacuuming the office and stage of my school. That is how I will get most of my money. I work about 2 hours a day, 5 days a week, and get paid $5.50 an hour. So if you would like to figure out how much I get paid, go ahead. I guess now you can see how long it's gonna take to get Ed up to the monster's status. If you would like to make donations then e-mail me and I am sure we could make some arrangements. |
