10.1.01- More RAM!! Yep that's right! I got more RAM. The Monster got more RAM so I got it's old RAM. All together I have 128 MB of RAM. Then I went into the BIOS and set it to take 8 MB of the RAM for the video. So now it uses 120 MB. This boost didn't help improve Half-Life's performance but booting and loading programs really did speed up. I don't know how I survived this long with only 32 MB of RAM.
There is some updates on my future plans for Ed: My brother will sell me his Motherboard and Processor from the Monster for $100. Then all I will have to do is buy a case for about $50. That will cost $150 all together. Then I will use a spare 2 MB video card we have just lying around somewhere for the video until I get about $160 for my ATI Radeon All-in-Wonder. Then I will probably save up my money for a GeForce 3! WOO!
