3.23.02- More RAM I got some more RAM today. It's some Kingston 128MB PC-133. Now I have 256MB of RAM. I could tell that my computer was getting kind of sluggish. And when someone would sign in on AIM, my computer would think real hard for a second and then you would hear the door open. This is a sign that you need more RAM. I went to Office Depot to get it, since they are the only computer store in town. (PLEASE! GIVE US A COMPUSA!!) I thought to myself, "Yeah, $20 should get it." When I saw the price of $44, I was shocked. RAM used to be dirt cheap. But I coughed up the money.
3.22.02- Lots of Poo Well, Yahoo has decided to charge for you being able to check your email by Outlook. So, I decided to change my email address. It is now stinkythe1@hotpop.com. Make the necessary changes. I think I am going to send back my AIW and get a new one. So, I took it out and put the Vanta back in. Sigh... I knew it couldn't be true.
3.20.02- Stupid Morpheous I hate what they have done to Morpheous. It used to be the best program in the world. But now that they have made that preview edition, that just screwed it up. You can't tell what you are wanting to find. Like in the old Morpheous, if you wanted a song, you would select Audio, if you wanted video, you selected video. Now you can't do that. The old one was so much easier to use. And I tried to find a song, and I put it in, and there was only one result. I tried to download it, but then I couldn't see where it was transferring. Nowadays, I use WinMX. It's ok, and it serves its purpose. What I like about it is you can ping people and see how fast they are. Speaking of ping, over the past few days we have been getting some pretty high ping. We have Comcast@home, and we had some descent ping like 50 or so. Now its getting up to about 300! That's like Dial-up. So we may switch to DSL.
